Coach
Tulane Law School
Co-Active Training Institute
Chelsea Thaxter is an executive coach, facilitator, and professional-development consultant who helps lawyers and legal teams build presence, purpose, and effective leadership skills. She works with partners, counsel, associates and in-house attorneys to strengthen leadership capacity, navigate transitions, and develop the practical behavioral skills needed for meaningful and sustainable careers in the law.
Chelsea’s coaching and workshops focus on leadership development, communication and feedback, managing up and down, emotional self-regulation, strengths-based growth, and using tools like the Enneagram to deepen self-awareness.
Before founding her coaching and consulting practice, Chelsea practiced corporate law, representing emerging growth companies and venture capital investors, and later led professional development inside a major law firm. That experience gives her a grounded understanding of the realities of legal practice and the organizational dynamics that shape attorney growth.
She is certified through the International Coaching Federation and the Co-Active Training Institute, and is an Accredited iEQ9 Enneagram Practitioner. Chelsea lives in New York’s Lower Hudson Valley and is also a hospice volunteer and trained end-of-life doula.
